Questions about Allopar insulating varnish for coils, transformers and motor windings, 1000 ml
What is Allopar insulating varnish used for?
It is an electrical insulating varnish for coils, transformers and motor windings. Applied after rewinding or during maintenance, it seals the winding against moisture, dust and oxidation, binds the turns, and protects against surface discharge and corrosion, extending the life of motors, generators and transformers.
How is the varnish applied?
By brush on the end windings and accessible coils, or by dipping the whole stator or coil for complete penetration. Clean and dry the winding first, apply a thin, even coat, let the solvent flash off, and apply a second coat where the first has soaked in. A 1000 ml tin covers about 4 to 6 m² per coat depending on the method.
How long does it take to dry and cure?
It is touch-dry at room temperature in roughly 30 to 60 minutes and reaches service hardness after 24 hours; warm air or an oven at the temperature given on the datasheet shortens the cure. Energise the machine only after the full cure and after an insulation-resistance test.
What is the shelf life and how should it be stored?
Store the tin tightly closed in a cool, dry, ventilated place away from heat and sunlight; it keeps for about 24 months unopened. Stir before use and never return thinned varnish to the tin.
Is it safe to use indoors?
It is a flammable, solvent-based product (GHS flammable, health hazard, irritant). Use it in a ventilated area away from ignition sources, with gloves and eye protection; the safety data sheet is available on request and comes with the quotation.
Do you deliver across Saudi Arabia?
Yes. We quote from Jeddah and deliver to workshops, plants and sites across the Kingdom (Riyadh, Dammam, Jubail, Yanbu, Makkah, Madinah and more); the delivery time is stated on the quotation.
What is the price of a 1000 ml tin?
Prices are given on quotation, in Saudi riyals with VAT shown separately. Send the quantity you need by the form, e-mail or WhatsApp and the quotation arrives within 24 hours.
