How to choose a mining cable
Machine and voltage
Start from the machine: shovels and draglines usually need 5 to 25 kV SHD-GC; drills and pumps 1 to 2 kV Type G-GC or Type W; portable tools H07RN-F or SOOW.
Ground check and screening
Trailing cables on mobile machines should carry a ground-check conductor and screened cores so the protection trips if the earth path breaks.
Underground mines and tunnels
Below ground, fire spread and smoke matter most: choose flame-retardant sheaths tested to IEC 60332 (bunched for cable runs), low-smoke halogen-free types where people work in enclosed galleries, and armour where cables run on walls or through drifts.
Sheath, heat and drum length
Choose CPE, PCP or PUR sheaths for abrasion, oil and sunlight; check the rating for Saudi ambient heat, and order drum lengths that avoid splices.

Can you supply full drum lengths to the mine site?
Yes. Send the type, voltage, cores and size and the lengths per drum; we quote with lead time and delivery to the site anywhere in the Kingdom.
Do you offer equivalents to a specified cable?
Yes. We match a specified type or part number with an equivalent from another maker when lead time or availability calls for it, and state every equivalent clearly.
Which cables are used in underground mines?
Shielded trailing cables with a ground-check conductor for mobile machines, armoured flame-retardant power cables for fixed feeders in drifts and shafts, and flame-retardant or low-smoke control and signal cables for conveyors, ventilation fans and pumps. Send the machine list and voltages and we propose the full set.
Do you supply cable accessories too?
