How to choose a VFD
Motor power and current
Choose the drive by the motor nameplate current, not only kW: the drive output current must be equal or higher at your duty.
Normal or heavy duty
Pumps and fans run at normal duty; conveyors, crushers and hoists need heavy duty (150% overload), often one size up.
Supply and harmonics
State 230 V single-phase, 400 V or 690 V three-phase. Long motor cables and sensitive networks call for output chokes or EMC filters.
Enclosure and heat
IP20 drives go in a ventilated panel; IP55 drives can be wall-mounted near the motor. Derate for Saudi ambient temperatures above 40 °C.
Questions
Can you supply an equivalent drive from another brand?
Yes, when the specification allows it. We match kW, current, duty, voltage, I/O and communication, and list the differences on the quotation.
Do you supply drive accessories?
Yes: keypads, EMC filters, line and motor chokes, braking resistors and communication cards can be on the same quotation.
Can you replace an obsolete drive?
Send the nameplate photo: we offer the maker's successor model or a direct replacement with the same rating and mounting where possible.
